White Kitchen Cabinets

Some people prefer a stylish black kitchen but for most of us a beautiful white kitchen is what we want. White as a color will make things so much easier for you. Appliances for example come in standard white color so you won’t have to pay a premium. White kitchen cabinets are also priced reasonable because the formica in this color is also the standard. One of the biggest benefit with going with an ivory color will be the impact on your kitchen lighting. Your kitchen will be much brighter because of the whiteness. You can literally furnish your entire kitchen with white kitchen furniture and not think twice. Simply put you can’t overdo it, you can even use white floor tiles. Try to visualize an all white kitchen with dark marble countertops. That would definitely look great.

The trick part would be the walls because having a white wall in addition to everything else being white would be overkill. You can however balance things out by using kitchen backsplash tiles in areas such as behind the stove or underneath the cabinets. You shouldn’t over do this also and behind backsplash underneath the cabinets might not be a good idea if you have marble countertops. This is why knowing how your kitchen will look like beforehand is vital. So if you’re going to design the kitchen yourself, choose a color scheme first and choose the colors that will go good with your white base. Matching the color of your chairs with a the color of the kitchen backsplash can make a huge difference. And something as simple as that can truly make a white kitchen shine. Your entire theme could also use shades of white. The backsplash would look great in a creme, seashell or cosmic latte color. Magnolia is also a great option as is old lace, champagne, concrete and navajo white.

White kitchens in general enhance the appearance of any home. And when it comes to designing your kitchen you can’t really go wrong with this color. It might be the best option from an money standpoint. As long as you design around your white kitchen cabinets you will do well. Just make sure that you use of buy high quality formica for the cabinets. Or you can simply paint them and making sure that the finish is excellent. When buying a refrigerator and oven make sure that the shade of white for both appliances is identical. It will make a difference and make your white kitchen look even more exquisite.
