Blue Kitchen Three Great Designs

We’ll take a look at a few blue kitchen designs to give you an idea of some of the ways that people used this particular color. The level you want to take it will depend on several things. The first is are you starting from scratch and by that are your plans for an entirely new kitchen or are you more interested in remodeling several areas of your kitchen. This is important because if you simply want to add blue kitchen cabinets to your existing kitchen design then it might only be a matter of painting your current ones.

You might have grander ideas and want a completely new modern blue kitchen. The first photo is just that, this is not the type of kitchen you can easily remodel or put together. It is customized and made to fit the exact size of area, the cabinets and shelves are finished with a formica, and if you feel comfortable with that than good for you. Formica with spills and especially children really don’t go well, so consider that, if it’s beauty you want then by all means this will do. If however you want something that has been proven to be durable and withstand spills and abuse then look elsewhere. This kind of style is great for singles, and very small families.

And speaking of a family friendly light blue kitchen the next one is just that. This design is absolutely great, all the cabinets are blue including most of the walls. The white colored vent is a nice touch though as are the dark brown wooden counters. This shade of blue is also splendid an you can tell whoever designed this kitchen knew what they were doing. You would think that darker colors will make the appearance of any room seem smaller but the design of this kitchen trumped that with the door less shelves. Notice the brown wood door that too is helps enhance the style of this lovely kitchen.

The last kitchen might very well seem like it is the least blue out of the blue kitchens here. This is the design that I would go for if I wanted minor changes. Painting the kitchen walls blue and leaving everything else alone is a great design tactic. It’s also cost effective but nevertheless very effective. White cabinets are almost perfect for that shade of blue which looks like royal. The best touch might very well be the gloss blue shelves, now keep in mind this particular one looks like it is professionally designed but it should give you an idea on how to approach such a style.

Man, these are some slick designs. I especially like the picture at the very top of the blog, the one with the three blue pendant lights running down the center of the counter. But all of these are food for thought. I am forever surfing the net for blog inspiration, but also just for information on our own kitchen remodeling to come. I want to do something different, but something that works. This post helps me quite a bit, and I thank you for it.
